David Beckham has revealed he wants his family to remain in America as they are treated like "normal kids" compared to here in the UK.The footballer, who has four children - Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper Seven - with wife Victoria Beckham has admitted they enjoy life Stateside, away from the glare of the press in Blighty.
Speaking at a lunch honouring the legends of his football team LA Galaxy, Becks is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "The kids are a number one priority and for the last five years they have been incredibly happy here.
“They go to school and are treated like normal kids, whereas maybe in Europe it’s been different for us. The attention we had there as a family and on our kids was a lot more intense.”
He added: "For the kids to be brought up around this atmosphere and this way of living is the most important thing.”
Meanwhile, Victoria is thought to have returned to the US following the launch of the new Spice Girls musical, Viva Forever, in London yesterday (26th June) - with the Daily Mail reporting she wanted to jet back to Los Angeles to see her daughter, Harper.
Posh Spice told press at the event at the St Pancras Hotel: "I'd love to stay and hang out with the girls but I'm desperate to see her before she goes to bed. I have to race home for bedtime."
