The Elvis'16 And in August 1977, Elvis Presley died at the age of 42 at his home in Graceland. He was born in a two-room house in 1935 and appeared with his parents in the camps, and meetings of the church in its infancy. After graduating from high school, drove a truck. He began his musical career in 1954 and became a national sensation in 1956 with the publication, "Heartbreak Hotel." He continued to delight audiences with his unique musical style, hip movements and provocative personality power, producing hits like "Be not cruel," "Hound Dog," "Love Me Tender," "All Shook Up" and "Jailhouse Rock. “In December 1957, Mr. Presley called US Army. After his release by the army in 1960, he returned to his recording career, adds romantic ballads in his repertoire Rock Hip-shaking and avoids concert tours to act in films largely forgettable, but a commercial success. His obituary in The New York Times noted, "Presley was once the subject of such an honor that adolescent girls screamed and fainted at the sight of him. He also was convicted of what was considered sexually suggestive behavior on stage.
