KTN's Mohammed Ali's mobile theft case is withdrawn

KTN and Jicho Pevu’s Mohamed Ali was arraigned in court on May 11^th over accusations that he stole a Nokia 8800 which is allegedly valued at Ksh 100,000 from

Al Amanna Electronics. In a twist turn of event, Hassan Bishar Osman, who is one of Al Amanna Electronics Director has withdrawn the Mohamed Ali theft case before a Nairobi Magistrate Peter Ndwiga.

Osman told word that Ali was a victim of circumstances, hence he wish to have the matter be withdrawn in the court of law.

People were already speculating that he case might be a set up because of the nature of his work (investigative journalism that exposes cases of fraud and cartels).
